Under help repair the guitar?

I have a low, like a month ago, so I'll try to describe what happened as best I can. Something happened to taking the guitar where the cable will be connected to the amplifier. The nut and washer on the cat came out, and now I can hear something inside the guitar and singing I connect vibration the cable into the socket. Can you tell me what is wrong and how I can fix it? I do not think there is a back plate. If it helps, p-bass is a Squier.

Hey Jason No fret here .... just open the back of the bass. You should see loose piece fall when you shake a little low, once the cover is removed on the back. Whatever you do, put the jack back inthe hole from the inside, now screw the washer and nut on the back. simple. You longnose pliers and without excess. That's it. Plug it in and play at will. If not, my email and I explain what they are doing wrong.

What is the relief of neck and set on low, and how you can modify this?

here is what I read in an article related to purchase used low: neck relief is crucial in any low, especially those used. If you do not like the neck or the relief of the sensation of the neck, ask the luthier or employee Store to configure to your liking. Netherlands jewel Many go unnoticed because of bad play can configure any explanation?

The relief is the bow in the neck of a Guitar and Bass. Setup is just that: how everything is setup as far as concerns chain-related things. They usually do not want the neck of a low to be perfectly flat, or else you'll get buzzing from the strings hitting all metal frets when I started. So add what is called the relief in the neck, give him a little bow away from the strings. This is done by turning the truss rod, a metal bar that runs along the neck, inside, All that you can see it is the adjustment screw (which may be the end of the fingerboard, near where they touch the strings, or at the other end, under the ropes in the pegha). You use a screwdriver or Allen wrench to turn the truss rod and causes the neck to lean one way or another, depending on the way to turn it around. Continue with the set point by adjusting the bridge height (which determines the height of the strings of the fingerboard) and pitch (that ensures that the low will play in tune all the way up and down the neck). These settings affect each other, so you have to adjust a few times. Reducing the height of bridge loosen the strings, which them out of tune, while tuning in again until you can add a touch of relief, and so on ... Once you get to master this technique, which has little time to mark an instrument in Just go slow with the soul at first. In general, adjustment to fourth turn, then eyeball, and set another quarter turn, etc. ..
