You can play slap on acoustic. Do not worry about the bass strings are hard chains. The only problem is likely to have decent sound.

I do not know. what is special about the bass players? perhaps a young bass player also be a girl I want to play the guitar because of fragmentation, ripping, and ive ofcoarse love with the guitar licks. my intsructor but said it was possible for me to play well, I was more than an individual in the bass. my favorite bass players are under the label of jrock: reita, kanon, saga, Tetsuya, and bears for all bands of the PSC (i suggest you watch some of the bands that are incredible, especially Kra song "Artman") I like heavy things on or off is quite different from that just seem i all my friends put me in the category of cute, young, innocent, shy, nontalkactive, naive (which is not true!) etc etc etc so some of you they are responding could understand where this issue so confusing oh might go

You control the pace, the feeling of the song, how it operates, how flows. anyone can play both, but a successful bass player learns to think differently when playing bass.
